Course description
This one-year Master's programme is taught entirely in English and leads to a LLM in International and European Law.
It focuses on the main principles of energy market liberalisation, which has caused significant changes in the energy sector over the last few years. It also deals with how climate law affects the energy sector.
The Faculty is home to the Groningen Centre of Energy Law, the only research centre for energy law in the Netherlands.
The programme is delivered in the middle of the "Energy Valley" of the Netherlands, so students will have the chance to learn from leading experts in the field of energy law.
Admission requirements
- A university Law degree, second class honours
- A letter of motivation in which applicants explain why they want to participate in the programmes (max. 650 words)
